How to Plant Desert Rose Cabbage Seeds
Step 1:
Soak the seeds in warm water (around 40°C) for about 5 hours before planting.
Step 2:
Once the seed edges are slightly swollen, remove them from the water and rinse off any sticky residue. Then, continue the germination process.
Step 3:
Use a damp paper towel to wrap the seeds. Spread the seeds evenly on the towel, fold it, and place it in a dish or tray. Cover with plastic wrap and store in a dark place. After 30 hours, if white sprouts appear, the seeds are ready for planting.
Step 4:
Prepare a plastic container about 6mm to 10mm deep with a lid. Mix soil with coconut fiber at a 1:1 ratio. Fill 2/3 of the container with the mixture, then sow the seeds, spacing them about 2cm apart.
Place the container in the shade. The seeds will sprout into seedlings after 7-12 days. Keep the seedlings in the shade for another 2-3 weeks before transplanting them to your desired location.
Step 5:
Once the plants mature, remember to provide proper watering, sunlight, and fertilizers to ensure vibrant and beautiful blooms.
