- Step 1: Put soil that has been treated for pathogens into the nursery tray, about ¾ of the height of the tray is appropriate. Lightly sprinkle dahlia seeds on the surface, then cover with a thin layer of soil about 1 cm.
–Step 2: Use a mist sprayer to moisten the soil.
–Step 3: Place the nursery tray in a cool, ventilated location.
–Step 4: After 3-5 days, the dahlia flower seeds will germinate.

Grow Dahlia: Full sun, prefers afternoon shade in hot, dry climates. Keep soil moist, water deeply 2-3 times per week. Flowers attract butterflies, and are excellent for cutting.
